A “package” event signed by Dow

Dow Packaging and Specialty Plastics Company held on June 5 in Casablanca, a meeting with clients and partners.
An opportunity to present the main products and solutions of Dow dedicated to packaging market in North Africa, as well as the latest information about the Sadara project.
This project that should be functional towards the end of 2015, plans to produce over 1.3 million tons of high-performance plastic products, to ensure a better supply to certain high growth markets (Africa, Turkey, Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, Middle East).
Moreover, the Maghreb, which conceals a need for innovative solutions, expressed by packaging manufacturers, has also been the subject of relevant topics at the seminar, relating in particular to solutions specific to this region’s material products for industrial packaging and transport.
Dow’s event was a new project development assistance platform for packages with higher added value, and presented the latest updates related to Sadara.
Added to this is the introduction of a program of collaboration, “Pack Studios” to enable the development of innovations in the packaging industry, relying on a global network of laboratories, experts and test equipment.
